Responsibilities. Lead a team of 6 designers
. Shape the UI/UX vision for all of Roche Diabetes Care
. Oversee all phases of the design process across research, conceptual design, prototyping, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing
. Plan, coordinate, and conduct user research, participatory design, and usability testing with external stakeholders including clients and partners, and with various internal stakeholders
. Manage multiple competing priorities across distinct products
. Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
. Articulate design rationale as a means to balance user needs against business goals
. Oversee the progress and growth of the UI/UX team, providing support, design direction, and mentorship
. Plan and lead stakeholder presentations, workshops, and discussions that clearly articulate the rationale of the design
. Participate in all stages of the product design and development lifecycle, including initial ideation, validation, design, testing, and post-launch evaluation

. Drove the organization to be user-centric, data-driven and agile, using methodologies like design sprint and design thinking.
. Setup from the ground up a design team globally to develop the UI/UX for all the digital solutions.
. Released a mobile pump application (class IIb) to control Accu-Chek® Insight Pump to deliver a bolus and replace the controller (
